[Post Your Remedy!]( [Remedies for Schizophrenia]( Posted by [Joseph]( (Stockton, CA) on 06/24/2021: This comment is directed to Candace, I too have a son (53) with schizoaffective (2007) I wish I could send you some of my paperwork regarding similar things that your working on, but we're not allowed, therefore I will type to you what I have and have been doing. My son was diagnosed with chronic paranoid schizophrenia in 2007, 6 weeks in VA hospital, then returned home for 6 weeks and I saw what Antipsychotics were doing to him. He gained 50lbs, slept 18 hrs daily. I was a retired SF, Ca cop, had no formal training in Schizophrenia, went to the library and read all I could & took notes... Joseph's two-part reply continues [here:]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Saw Palmetto to Stop Body Hair from Natural Hormone Replacement]( Posted by Beverly (TN) on 06/24/2021 [5 out of 5 stars] My Gyn. nurse told me to take one 500 mg saw palmetto every day to combat body hair growth component of my natural hormone creams. It definitely helps. My Seborrheic Keratosis WAS located on my scalp above my right temple and was starting to show through my hair line. Over the last two years it has grown from dime size to a monstrous half-dollar sized ugly brown spot. It is best to take these in angstrom form - liquid ionic minerals. I went to an oriental medicine doctor. I took these minerals twice per day, 20 minutes apart... He had never had one in our 20 plus years together. Then very soon he had 5 of them. We're outside in the yard heat sweating a lot and he's very hairy also, which could have brought it on? This just happened this month June 2021. I made a Turmeric paste, dabbed each one, then put a bandaid on all 5 of them. After I pulled them off and he showered when we were done outside-I reapplied new ones. Did this for 1 week. I also wore gloves while doing this. All the swelling went down and away and healed up nicely. Zinc is actually more interesting to me because the last 3 times I had a migraine coming on, I've taken zinc and it resolved w/in an hour. (I can't take NSAIDs due to fluoroquinolone toxicity and was scratching my head for alternatives, when something in me told me to try zinc... it worked! ) And as zinc is so important to the absorption of so many other vitamins, I suspect it could be a game changer for me. Thanks for your reply! I am pleased to say I think it's helping. My husband took it years ago for neuropathy and it was great. My son is trying it for his neuropathy as well. My anxiety has been so bad because my husband died six months ago after fighting lung cancer for 14 months. My checkup showed elevated blood pressure. High blood pressure causes anxiety which raises blood pressure which causes more anxiety and round and round. So I am so happy to find something besides Xanax that actually makes me feel somewhat better. Now hopefully I can get my blood pressure down. 🤪🤪 [Indian Snakeroot for High Blood Pressure]( [5 out of 5 stars] Replied by Joe A. (Stockton, Ca) on 06/20/2021 I am responding to the lady with hypertension. I am sorry for your family's loss. I would suggest Serpina tablets, Amazon sells them for about $8.00 for 100 4mg pills, they treat anxiety, insomnia, hypertension, and brings calmness to the mind. Non habit forming, can quit cold turkey any time. My dosage given to my son was 2 pills daily 3X a day or you can start with 1 pill 3X daily, in severe cases take 3 pills twice daily. The Serpina pills were developed in India 1934 and were the worlds first hypertension medicine. After trial studies they learn that many other things it can help. I only found interaction with: Antipsychotic meds and cold or flu medicine, including Benadryl. Also known as Indian Snakeroot, you can ask your Dr, however most aren't familiar with alternative meds that help the root of your problem, because they are only trained in conventional drugs that cure nothing, and has major side effects, including Death. Thank you, I am sorry I could not have helped sooner. Joe A. [Source]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Natto for Eczema]( Posted by Susan (Waipahu, HI) on 06/20/2021 [5 out of 5 stars] I have had eczema for over 15 years. I was forced to resort to prescription cortisone salves to keep the flare ups under control. As a result of being diagnosed with osteoporosis and refusing to take prescription medications to treat it, I discovered (as a reader of Dr. Joseph Mercola's daily emails) that Japanese Natto (fermented soybeans) contains vitamin K2 which is helpful in protecting bones. I began eating a spoonful of Natto daily. It does take some getting used to as it is very slimy. Low and behold as a side benefit of consuming this fermented soybean, my eczema completely cleared up! I still eat Natto daily and consider it essential to my healthy regimen. [Source]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [DMSO for Tendonitis]( Posted by Mel M (IL) on 06/20/2021 [5 out of 5 stars] I just started using DMSO gel on my shoulder and elbow, and I can't believe how fast it worked. You can't leave it on longer than 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes at the most but it starts to get very itchy. You need to wash it off or I just wet a rag and wipe it off. It is just the nature of DMSO. I used it for shingles pain, many years ago and luckily always keeps this around, just in case. It helps with arthritis pain as well. But I just didn't think it would help with tendon issues. But then I looked here on Earth clinic and tried it out. And I am stunned. Again. It is just a versatile cream. Thank you Earth clinic and all the people who share on here. I've remedied so many health issues, I'm lucky I found this website years ago! --------------------------------------------------------------- [Thieve’s Oil Compress for TMJ]( Posted by Rob (Kentucky) on 06/22/2021 [5 out of 5 stars] My GF had a severe attack of TMJ after returning home from a dinner date. She said it started while she was eating. First, we applied a heating pad to the side of her face. Did not do much for the pain. So, next we tried applying Dr. Christopher's SenSei Menthol Ointment (if you are not familiar with this product, imagine vick's salve, tigerbalm and icy hot combined times 100! ) to the side of her jaw, neck and around her ear. I then made up an oil compress of thieve's oil to be placed inside her mouth (placed between her back tooth gum line of her jaw and cheek). As close to the temporomandibular joint area as possible. The compress will release its oils over the hour so it will absorb into the jaw area. Then I had her lay down for the night. She woke-up as if nothing had ever happened.
