Today I want to get back to the “Millionaire Productivity Secrets” series I’ve been doing over the last few weeks. This next secret is probably the most overlooked but it’s also one of the most powerful. Millionaire productivity secret number five is: Energy management. Most people are constantly trying to jam a square peg into a round hole when it comes to timing their activities. What this means is, most people take their hardest task and try to do it when they're tired. Like writing a sales letter, or filming a video. They don't do it in the morning when they have the greatest energy because they’re busy doing some long elaborate morning routine… Then by the time they finally get to that hard task — it’s two o'clock in the afternoon… they've had a heavy lunch… they're tired from the day… they have no willpower left… And yet, THAT’S the time they’re choosing to attack their most challenging work. What you need to do is rearrange your schedule and take the hardest thing and slot it into the right part of your day where your energy, focus, and creativity is at its highest. Square peg, square hole. You align your hardest task with your peak mental capability. I call this “magic time”. It’s the time of day when you're three times more creative, productive and energetic than any other time of day. I’ve written multiple books in 15-minute slots of magic time. I get up, and I crank out 500 words in 15 minutes. If I’m really dialed in, I can write 1500 words in 90 minutes (even when my speed starts to fall off after 30-40 minutes, I'm still twice as fast as I would be later in the day). It’s tough to write 1500 quality words that fast, and which hardly need any editing… but BOOM! — it just comes out because I’ve matched the activity to my mental intensity. I encourage you to try making that match with your own activities. I discuss this concept in full detail in chapter 7 of my book the Perfect Week Formula, which includes a handy tool to determine exactly when YOUR magic time is. If you want to check it out… [You can download a FREE copy here.]( In any case, you need to figure out when your magic time is (for me and a lot of other people it’s first thing in the morning after waking up… but not for everybody). And then determine what your most important, most challenging tasks are to tackle at that time. You’ll be amazed by how powerful this is and how much you can accomplish. Even if you don’t decrease your hours… even if you don't decrease your number of meetings… But you just match your mental energy level with the energy required by the activity… It will radically increase your productivity, without question. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
