"How to Blend Fundamental Valuation with the Insights of Technical Analysis." [Investment House] Below please find a special message from one of our advertisers, VectorVest, Inc.. From time to time we find special opportunities we believe you as a valued customer may want to see. Please note that the following message reflects the opinions and representations of our advertiser alone, and not necessarily the opinion or editorial positions of Investment House, Eagle Financial Publications or Salem Media Group. --------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, There have always been two different camps of market participants. There's the long-term investor who will look for attractive buying opportunities when it relates to a company's financials. They will study anything and everything that may affect a stock's value, from macroeconomic factors such as inflation or interest rates to individual company data like EBITDA, Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or how effective management has been. The end goal is to determine whether the stock they are interested in buying is overvalued, undervalued, or fully valued by the market. Then there are the shorter-term technical traders who primarily study price and volume...and that's it. They don't care much for sales growth or whether a company missed or beat earnings estimates. A technical trader will study chart patterns to identify buy and sell signals. They might use moving averages to identify if the stock is trending and indicators like MACD, Moving Average Convergence Divergence or RSI, Relative Strength Index, to pinpoint entries. Get them both in a room and they'll argue until they're blue in the face who is right. If I were in that room with them, I would tell them that in many ways, they're both right. The fundamental investor looking to maximize returns may not buy a stock that, at least in the near term, is more likely to fall than it is to move higher. And if a technical trader was able to know whether the stock is safe, whether it's undervalued AND rising in price? Wow, that sounds like a recipe for a profitable trade. The absolute best professional swing traders marry the two. They'll trade favorable price and volume set-ups on fundamentally sound companies. This is exactly what my training webinar is all about... The FREE, LIVE webinar is called... "How to Blend Fundamental Valuation with the Insights of Technical Analysis."
