[Gilder Guideposts] [Technology Report]( [Tech Report PRO]( [Moonshots]( [Private Reserve]( Guideposts: Antisemitism as Socialism by George Gilder and Richard Vigilante 10/18/2023 SPONSORED CONTENT [Imminent FDA Decision Could End Obesity in America...]( ...and spark a 224,000% sales surge for one tiny micro-cap stock. The Wall Street Journal Reports: The "King Kong" of drugs is coming. Barron's Reports: "it's game changing." [Get the name of the stock here ]( Does it seem strange to you that so many on the left are anti-Israel, and especially so pro-Palestinian? Welcome to the materialist superstition, the worship of material things—land, “resources”, factories, machines—as the source of wealth and wealth itself. This has always been the fundamental creed of socialism. It’s why socialists believe that wealth can be stolen. It’s the idea behind the saying “behind every fortune lies a great crime.” The Jews, wanderers of the earth for two millennia, have been protected from this most destructive of all superstitions by the simple fact of having so little in the way of what the world mistakenly calls natural resources. Can’t carry nature on your back. Some early Zionists favored founding the new Jewish homeland in some lush but primitive part of the world, Uganda being a favorite choice. Luckily for the Jews, they ended up in the desert, where it is impossible to hold on to the materialist superstition. The desert helped them keep their edge. Here’s just one fact: Israel is the most efficient user of water on earth. With so little of the stuff available, they pioneered micro-irrigation, delivering minuscule amounts of water directly to the roots of plants, instead of spraying the stuff all around to evaporate, as most American farms still do. The fruits of the Israeli effort are, well, fruit. They grow citrus fruits laden with water in the desert, and they even export it. Weigh up the water in food exported from Israel and this desert nation is a net exporter of H2O. In Israel, the Jews showed that even water is not a natural resource. Without the intervention of the mind, one might as well pour it out on the sand. Just as the Palestinians blame the narrow confines of Gaza for their abject poverty, they seem to imagine that if they stole back the desert from Israel, it would continue to bloom. Not for them, it wouldn’t. There is an abundant aquifer under Gaza. The Gazans have so fouled it that they need to import most of their water from Israel. [The Only Tech Stock Picker with an Almost Perfect Track Record]( Talk about a Midas touch! A stock picker who specializes in “special situation” investments has been bagging winner after winner since 2020 -- with gains of up to 98%. Out of 17 recent recommendations, all but two were double-digit winners, and only one was a loser. And it turns out, his secret strategy is not that complicated. [Find out the simple secret by clicking here.]( Here’s a simple thought experiment. What if, tomorrow, in a heroic gesture for peace, all Israeli Jews agreed to leave Israel proper, give it to the Palestinians and take up residence in the “open air prison” of Gaza? Five years later, if you had to choose between living in Arab Israel or Jewish Gaza, where would you go? It’s an easy question, except for one little wrinkle. For sure, you would want to choose Gaza. But if the Jews were confined there, in five years, Gaza City would comprise the most valuable real estate in the Middle East. You might not be able to afford the rent. Meanwhile, Tel Aviv would be a hellhole, and goats would graze in Jerusalem. The left would blame this on Israel. Because how could the poor exploited Palestinians flourish when confined within Israel’s narrow borders—practically a concentration camp—and with the Jews hogging all Gaza’s waterfront property? Why, the Jews might not even allow the Arabs to use the port of Gaza—which the Israelis would have transformed from fishing village status to one of the world’s great seaports. No wonder the Palestinian economy is a basket case with those Jews next door! [Join George Gilder at the Orlando MoneyShow on October 29-31, 2023]( Join financial expert George Gilder live at the [Orlando MoneyShow]( from October 29-31, 2023. Gilder will have two discussions on “The Age of Carbon, the Coming Transformation of Human Life, and the Biggest Investment Opportunity of our Lifetimes” and “You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet! Why the Future of Semiconductor Investment Will Make the Past Look Like a Slow-Motion Movie”. [Click here now to reserve your spot!]( Or suppose the Jews and the Palestinians swapped positions on the other front, with all the Jews moving to the West Bank, and all the Arabs shuttling over to the Israeli side. In five years, the Jordanians would forget that, since 1967, they have been unwilling to touch the West Bank with a ten-foot pole. Now, they would demand it back. Because, you know, it’s obviously one of the richest places on earth, and it’s unfair that the Jewish exploiters have it all to themselves. For the last several hundred years, the chief manifestation of the materialist superstition has been socialism—including in Nazi Germany. “Mein Kampf” is a socialist tract; Hitler an obsessive materialist (c.f. lebensraum). Utterly unsurprising are the Nazi roots of Palestinian terror. The materialist superstition is why socialism is the locus of antisemitism today.
