[Gilder Guideposts] [Technology Report]( [Tech Report PRO]( [Moonshots]( [Private Reserve]( Guideposts: Have a Life Changing Moment! by George Gilder and Richard Vigilante 10/04/2023 SPONSORED CONTENT [The $15 Trillion Stock Market Shake-Up]( A $15 trillion market force is set to unleash major change to the stock market. And a select few tiny efficient and innovative stocks are the key in pushing this force. These companies already own huge government contracts and have customers in over 150 countries… and their revenues are increasing up to 52% year over year... So what is this force and why are these select stocks pushing this trillion dollar force? [Click here to get full details now.]( The world today is fraught with life-changing moments for many of us. I hope that this letter can be a life-changing moment for some of you. I just had the strange and exhilarating experience of watching a film about my life. Called “Sage Against the Machine” ([gildermovie.com](), it was made by an ingenious entrepreneurial team from Canon Press of Moscow, Idaho. Reverberating through the hour-long film are my own life-changing moments. It begins with my discovery of sex. Hey, it happens to all of us! In my case, it happened in the 1960s and made me a leading critic of feminism in “Sexual Suicide.” It propelled me onto stages around the world and in every TV venue from “To Tell the Truth” to appearances with television hosts Oprah Winfrey, Phil Donahue and Barbara Walters, climaxed by my uproarious role on the “Dick Cavett Show” on ABC. You can see it in the movie. Now being republished in a new edition by Canon Press as “[Men and Marriage](,” the book predicted the familial disorders, male demoralization, female derangements, crime upsurges, and population declines of the current era. The high points of “Sage,” however, mostly correspond to the technological transformations of the world economy since the early 1980s. [Join George Gilder at the Orlando MoneyShow on October 29-31, 2023]( Join financial expert George Gilder live at the [Orlando MoneyShow]( from October 29-31, 2023. Gilder will have two discussions on “The Age of Carbon, the Coming Transformation of Human Life, and the Biggest Investment Opportunity of our Lifetimes” and “You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet! Why the Future of Semiconductor Investment Will Make the Past Look Like a Slow-Motion Movie”. [Click here now to reserve your spot!]( In writing my worldwide best-seller “Wealth and Poverty” on the supply side economics that shaped the Reagan years, I discovered the ascent of the “silicon moment.” At the time, it was so little recognized that fact-checkers would often change my spelling to “silicone.” I wrote three books chronicling this era. The first, The Spirit of Enterprise, told the story of Micron Technology. Micron was then a startup producing computer memory chips in Boise, Idaho, at a time when business sage Peter Drucker was saying that “to make memory chips in America was like growing pineapples in North Dakota.” As my book was being published, Micron went public and later became a stock market star as the world’s leading producer of these memory chips. In Telecosm and Life After Television in the early 1990s, I went on to predict the smartphone: “It would be as portable as your watch and as personal as your wallet. It would translate speech and navigate streets. It would collect your news and your mail.” As I told Bill Gates at the time, “It just might not do Windows. But it would do doors, opening doors to your future.” I then traveled the world celebrating the breakthroughs of Qualcomm corporation and its embattled new wireless standard CDMA. When I was told by Stanford’s leading wireless expert Bruce Lusignan that code-division multiple access (CDMA) “violated the laws of physics,” I knew I had a major disruptive technology and stock market winner in Qualcomm. I called the new epoch the Telecosm. I won’t tell you about the stock market crash of 2000 when I nearly went broke and appeared on the cover of Wired in a story called the “Madness of King George.” But the film brings that era and subsequent history luminously to life. Now, in a new transformative moment, I hope to illuminate the life-changing technological breakthrough of this epoch. It is not artificial intelligence (AI) that merely launches the next phase of the silicon age. I have already discussed AI in several books, from “Microcosm: The Quantum Age in Economics and Technology” (1989) to “Gaming AI: Why AI Can’t Think but Will Transform Jobs” (2020). The real transformative technology of the era comes from materials science and a disruptive branch of physics called topology. Based on the emergence of two-dimensional materials with one-dimensional carrier paths, I call it the “nanocosm” of graphene. [Trade Smarter: Discover Hidden Opportunities w/ A.I.]( The world’s leading artificial intelligence is forecasting trends in the market in our Free Live A.I. Training. [Save your seat to watch live >>]( A single layer of carbon atoms, graphene is transparent and naturally superconductive. It is 200 times stronger than steel and 100 times stronger than aluminum by weight. A single gram could cover two football fields and endure a football game on its surface without damage. It could enable an invisible bulletproof vest or a full body suit. A thousandfold more conductive of electricity than copper and more conductive of heat than any other material, it promises a new era in electronics and computation, photonics and bionics. As flexible as rubber, it can revolutionize industries from electronics and medicine to architecture and space flight. Manufacturable from carbon wastes, plastic refuse, and garbage, it makes nonsense of most of the fears of climate change and ecological crisis. It will change every industry even more radically than silicon did from its beginnings in the 1970s. Silicon became the dominant technology of the microcosm when it became possible to industrialize the fabrication of integrated circuits on microchips. Graphene promises to become the dominant technology of the nanocosm when it can be manufactured cheaply by the ton rather than arduously by the milligram. This is now happening around the globe in several companies led by Universal Matter, of Houston and Toronto. I have already invested in it. It can be a life-changing moment for many of you, and possibly even for me, though I am 83 and will not see all its radical effects. But life-changing moments favor the people who foresee them and can invest in their emergence. I am devoting all my newsletters to guiding my readers through the explosive minefields of investment in this efflorescent new technological age. The movie of my life continues. Hope many of you will come along. P.S. You’ve got to come to [COSM Technology Summit 2023](, Nov. 1-3 in Bellevue, Washington. COSM 2022 and 2021 were probably the best tech gatherings we’ve ever been to, and the 2023 version is not to be missed. COSM is the ultimate expression of George’s worldview, the Gilder Team’s insights into what is happening in tech, how it matters to the world and especially to our readers and tech investors. Register today and save the dates of Nov. 1-3: The focus this year is on AI and all its works. Key speakers include: - The Wall Street Journal’s Andy Kessler on the economics of AI. - Juan Lavista Ferres, Microsoft’s chief scientist on AI’s potential for global problem solving. - Ray Kurzweil will shock you with the prospects for AI immortality. - Archana Vemulapalli, head of solutions architecture at Amazon AWS, will plunge into the AI open or closed debate. - Michael Milken will propose a new AI-enabled high-yield healthcare system. - …and more Plus, you will meet lots of key folks from the companies we cover. - Ariel Malik, the venture capitalist backing a dozen graphene companies spun out of Jim Tour’s Rice University Lab, will give important updates on the graphene revolution. - Steven Balaban, of Lambda Labs, a George Gilder favorite, will cover the prospects for companies enabling AI on the edge. - DO NOT MISS Vered Caplan, CEO of Orgenesis, on the amazing prospects of affordable cell therapy. - Another half a dozen start-up heroes. Alas, most of those deals are available only to “accredited investors.” That typically means you must have investable assets of $1 million or more, or an income of $200,000 or more. Happily, THERE IS AN EXCEPTION TO EVERY RULE!!!! In our most recent issue of [Gilder’s Private Reserve]( published just last week, we focus on one of our favorite graphene companies which happens to be open to all investors, not just accredited, for an investment of just $250! However, this deal closes soon. We really don’t want you to miss this opportunity, but we are not allowed to name the company here. The information is strictly for [Gilder’s Private Reserve]( subscribers. Fortunately, our esteemed Publisher, Roger Michalski, has found a way around this by creating a special introductory six-month subscription deal at huge savings from the publication’s regular price. The moment you subscribe, you will receive our most recent issue with this great graphene opportunity. Roger is making this offer now specifically because he wants you to have the opportunity to take advantage of this investment… we normally sell [Gilder’s Private Reserve]( only for a full year, so he’s not only cut the price, but also your time commitment. You need to hurry though. Both this offer and the funding deal end on Oct. 19. So, call Grant Linhares now at 866-223-4966 to take advantage of this opportunity!
