[Investment House Wrap Up] [IH Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [About Jon]( In This Issue: - Market Summary - Targets Hit - Covered Call Options Play Weekend Wrap Up for 08/27/2023 by Jon Johnson Editor, [Investment House Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( & [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [1pxtrans]( [Wall Street's biggest income secret leaks to a few retail traders]( Have you seen this? One of Wall Street's biggest income secrets just got leaked to a select few retail traders... It allows retail traders to tap into the same secret income streams big banks have been exploiting for years... And get this... One of those retail traders is using this little known strategy to generate weekly income. [>> Click here, you won't believe how simple it is.]( 1. Market Summary [Jon Johnson] - NVDA’s strong earnings gap stocks higher. Then they implode. - Ugly gap reversals show bearish engulfing patterns on the stock indices. - Stocks look weak but will the Fed allow that? - BRICS announces new members but crickets on the grand new currency. - Are market participants awaking to the divergence between government fairy tale data and real data? - Powell at Jackson Hole – his words won’t rescue markets because they will focus on continuing inflation fighting . . . but, his plunge team will likely be ready. NVDA earnings were great, other earnings were not bad, and stocks gapped to the upside. As anticipated, SP500, NASDAQ and other indices jumped just over the 50-day EMA and the June peak. As feared, the gap higher did not hold. Tech stocks sold from their higher open. NYSE stocks sold a half hour into the session. Once that ball started rolling, it didn’t stop until the closing bell. NVDA managed to eke out a 0.10% gain, just 47 cents. NOTE: The figures and information above are from the 8/23 report. [If You Think the Stock Market is Unpredictable, Think Again]( Believe it or not, there’s a way to know what direction a stock is poised to go over a period of time… I’m talking about a technical trading technique that lets you know whether a stock is going up…or whether it’s going down – within a rough time frame. I personally use this technique to consistently make profitable trades… And I’ve put together a short presentation with details on how you can start taking advantage of this technique alongside me. [Click this link to view the presentation.]( 2. Targets Hit Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC): Commodities remain a key market component and will likely continue to do so through 2023 and into 2024. Thus, we are always watching the various sectors for opportunity. UEC gave us another one recently when it broke out over the 200-day SMA, clearing a six-month cup-with-handle base as it did. The stock broke higher late July on earnings, but as is often the case, particularly when the breakout involves clearing a key level such as the 200-day SMA, it faded to test the break. This one was immediate, with UEC sliding back down to the 200-day over the next few sessions. It held, however, and on 8/4 started to break back upside. That was the signal we were waiting for, the signal that shows the buyers were still there and ready to drive the stock higher. We issued the text and email alert to buy UEC stock as it was trading at $3.57 on the ask. Then it was a matter of letting the stock work higher after the breakout test. UEC proceeded to rally up the 10- and 20-day EMA, rising above those levels on the bid days, fading to test after a good upside move. On 8/21, UEC touched our target price after four sessions upside. That is the play we were looking for and we issued the alert to sell the stock with it trading $4.00 on the ask, banking a sold 12%.
