[Investment House Wrap Up] [IH Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [About Jon]( In This Issue: - Market Summary - Targets Hit - Covered Call Options Play Weekend Wrap Up for 09/08/2024 by Jon Johnson Editor, [Investment House Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( & [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [1pxtrans]( Sponsored Content [Wall St. Icon: Looming Financial Tsunami Could Wipe Out the 1%]( Wall Street icon who forecasted Black Monday and dot-com crash says a new economic event could hit the American economy like a tsunami. It doesn't matter if you're blue collar, white collar, working, or retired. He says, "I am literally afraid for my family's future. I'm taking drastic steps to prepare for what I know will inevitably happen next." [Click here to see his new prediction.]( 1. Market Summary [Jon Johnson] - Another flat open turns into gains that are then dumped in a volatile session - NASDAQ indices manage to close higher but with marginal gains - Economic data better on the "soft" data from Services Purchase Managers Index (PMI), weaker again for the "hard" data - S&P 500 enters the next gap zone lower but manages to salvage the 50-day simple moving average (SMA) by the close - Indices all looking toward the jobs report, but after the immediate aftermath, any bounce on a stronger report, if there is one, likely fades as well - With the market fearing a Fed-induced recession and non-growth policies still in effect, the only relief the market can look to is the Fed Stocks started mixed as S&P 500 peered over the next potential gap fill as it tried to hang onto the 50-day SMA. Just as on Wednesday, stocks rallied early, moving higher through the first hour. Also, as on Wednesday, once that hour was up stocks collapsed rather spectacularly. The S&P 500 dove into that gap zone, but managed to find support at the 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) that is sitting just inside the gap. After that it was a back-and-forth session with surges and purges as the buyers and sellers fought all session. In the end, the NYSE indices were lower, while the NASDAQ indices were higher. It was a volatile pre-jobs report session, and in the end the indices find themselves in a worse position, really needing a jobs report that shows ... what? The need for an emergency liquidity injection or a report that shows the economy is not hurtling toward yet another Fed-induced recession? The market needs both. NOTE: The figures and facts above are from the 9/5 report. MARKET VIDEO [Click here to watch!]( NOTE: The video is from the 9/4 report. [Have You Seen This $11 Trillion 'Tech Strip?']( While many folks today are wondering what to do with their money… a revolutionary “sheet” of new technology has quietly sparked an $11 trillion tech revolution. Investors who get in FIRST have a rare chance to position themselves in front of a tsunami of profits. [Click here to see how anyone can profit fast.]( 2. Targets Hit Investment House Daily: Even with the week on the downside, we were playing the sectors that are still showing solid patterns and upside while we wait for the market to decide if it will hold the S&P 500 50-day moving averages (MAs). With picking the right stocks in the sectors still receiving money, we were able to bank some nice gains. Stick with the strong patterns, buy at the right time, take gain when the stock shows it is time. Arbutus Biopharma Corp. (NASDAQ: ABUS): 11.8% gain in the stock Costco Wholesale Corporation (NASDAQ: COST): 15% gain in the options Dominion Energy Inc. (NYSE: D): 51% gain in the options Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ): 45% gain in the options [Receive a risk-free trial to Investment House Daily and save 50% by clicking here now!]( [Where are the record-setting stocks going?]( Wondering if you should be bullish or bearish on Nvidia for the remainder of the week?
