[Investment House Wrap Up] [IH Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [About Jon]( In This Issue: - Market Summary - Targets Hit - Covered Call Options Play Weekend Wrap Up for 07/07/2024 by Jon Johnson Editor, [Investment House Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( & [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [1pxtrans]( 1. Market Summary [Jon Johnson] - Big 4 lead higher as other areas are trying to follow - Data is all negative except for the S&P data, and it is setting up an earlier rate cut - Some non-techs such as metals are starting new moves A slow start in the holiday-short session, but, as with the first part of the week, stocks put in a low-to-high move. By stocks, of course, I refer to those in the Big 4 indices as SOX, NASDAQ and NDX led higher with another session of solid gains. NASDAQ and NDX of course posted new all-time highs, closing at the session highs. Started flattish then surged, yet again. NOTE: The figures and facts above are from the 7/3 report. MARKET VIDEOS There were no videos this week. 2. Targets Hit Investment House Daily: Big names came to life over the past week, getting ready for some Independence Day booms likely. Well, they made some booms of their own as the NASDAQ mega caps, after a quiet period where AI, NVDA and other chips all surged, reminded market participants they were still in the game. This gave us the opportunity to bank some partial gains on these positions as they touched our initial targets, but still look as if they have more room to rally. Apple, Inc. (AAPL): 48.6% in the options Tesla, Inc. (TSLA): 122% in the options [Receive a risk-free trial to Investment House Daily and save 50% by clicking here now!]( Technical Trader: Some steady gains moving into the Fourth holiday with the big name techs breaking upside again, but some of the wannabe leaders are struggling after some initial promise. Looks as if bigger is still better, but some day the rest of the market will follow. Some day. For now, we banked some initial gain on a mega cap as other positions on the biggest names continue to work. Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN): 53% in the options Carnival Corporations & plc (CCL): 30.8% in the options 3. Covered Call Options Play Pinterest, Inc. (PINS) -- Pinterest, Inc. is currently trading at $43.47. The July 5 $43.50 calls (PINS240705C00043500) are currently trading at $0.10. [Learn more about our Covered Call Tables here!]( About Investment House: [Investment House]( Since 1999!
