[Investment House Wrap Up] [IH Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [About Jon]( In This Issue: - Market Summary - Targets Hit - Covered Call Options Play Weekend Wrap Up for 06/30/2024 by Jon Johnson Editor, [Investment House Daily]( [Technical Traders Alert]( & [Rapid Profits Stock Trader]( [1pxtrans]( [I Can’t Believe A Ticker Like This Exists]( Years ago, I came across a stock market ticker… One that has been my “edge” ever since… I trade it over and over again, every week… And thanks to this one ticker, I hit on 93.6% of my trades in 2023. [Here’s how you can too.]( 1. Market Summary [Jon Johnson] - Stocks start weak, manage to recover, but this leg higher lacks the snap of prior legs - Data continue to erode as headlines appear better but the details belie the top-line claims - The economy is so strong companies are closing stores to reduce costs - Despite all the data, it boils down to pricing reports because the market is controlled by the Fed - Key tests of the recent highs loom. Futures were off, but as anticipated in the premarket alert, the bids returned and most indices closed higher. Nothing out of the norm for the Big Four indices though PHLX Semiconductor Sector (SOX) closed lower -- Micron Technology’s (NASDAQ: MU) earnings were a beat, but the company did not gush over the artificial intelligence (AI) wave. With that heresy, MU was sold and many of the big-name chip stocks stumbled around, closing SOX lower. NOTE: The figures and facts above are from the 6/27 report. MARKET VIDEOS [Click here to watch!]( [If Investors Think the Stock Market is Unpredictable, Think Again]( Believe it or not, there’s a way to know what direction a stock is poised to go over a period of time… I’m talking about a technical trading technique that lets investors know whether a stock is going up…or whether it’s going down – within a rough time frame. I personally use this technique to consistently make profitable trades… And I’ve put together a short presentation with details on how investors can start taking advantage of this technique alongside me. Targets Hit Investment House Daily: A bit retail-heavy this week in terms of gains banked, but frankly retail, despite economic issues, has performed. Mostly the large end -- Costco, Walmart, TJX Companies, Amazon -- but we know that to be this market’s MO. On occasion a lower cap/price shows up, perhaps as a reminder that the small caps won’t be dead forever. In any event, we took advantage of good setups in these stocks and managed some solid gains. For Chewy, the play was a solid setup that broke nicely higher for us, working as it should. Then Roaring Kitty hit -- that doesn’t always happen for sure. Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT): 55% gain in the options Chewy Inc. (NYSE: CHWY): 80+% gain in the options, 9.45% gain in the stock [Receive a risk-free trial to Investment House Daily and save 50% by clicking here now!]( [Don't let the market burn you out]( You can either maintain full throttle, navigating the turbulence, or opt for a smoother ride with greater control.
