May 10th, 2024 Hello , It's Friday and starting to feel like summer for many of you. So, let's keep this short and sweet. One left-for-dead group of stocks is staging a major comeback. It’s still early though so the window of opportunity is wide open. The stocks I’m talking about are small-caps. As a group they’ve been sold down way too hard. They’re now at historically cheap levels compared to large-cap stocks. We’ve got a chart that proves it. The chart compares small-caps (like the S&P 600) to the biggest companies (like the S&P 100) The divide between them has only been this great two times before. Both bottoms were followed by long-term runs. But this is just setting the stage. Not all small-caps are going to do well (we’re looking at you retail and underfunded and overhyped tech plays). But some sectors have the potential to explode. We’re so excited about these sectors we’re not going to wait until Monday to get rolling. Expect to hear the first of the small-cap spotlight series on Sunday.Until then, we’ve got some another hated group of stocks that recently started down the comeback trail.
