Al Sharpton that it's "absolutely possible" Trump could be convicted in his federal criminal cases. Tacopina described these cases as serious and not to be underestimated. Trump faces multiple felony charges in Washington, D.C., relating to alleged conspiracy and obstruction around the certification of the 2020 election results. Tacopina acknowledged some political elements in these cases but affirmed their legitimacy following a grand jury indictment.   Trump is also facing legal challenges in Florida, Georgia, and New York City, with a total of 91 felony counts across various indictments, including falsifying business records in New York. Tacopina, who has withdrawn from representing Trump in certain cases, noted the difficulty Trump faces with trials in locations that are generally not supportive of him. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is contesting the Justice Department’s case on grounds of presidential immunity, which is currently under review by a D.C. appeals court.
