FROM THE DESK OF THE DSCC EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Team -- It’s Christie, the Executive Director here at the DSCC. I wanted to reach out with a crucial update. Upon reviewing our numbers so far this cycle, we had to recalculate our fundraising projections for 2024 -- and they're lower than we expected. In other words, we're going to raise less than we expected if we continue down the path we're on, just as Republican fundraising is ramping up. If we don't turn this around soon, we’ll have to cut back on plans critical to defending our vulnerable Democratic senators. [There's still time to change course, but we need this grassroots team to step up. The stakes are really high, so we need to know: Will you chip in $5 right now to help protect our Senate majority?]( Supporter ID 22627423 Donation Today PENDING Fundraising Goal $50,000 Deadline 11:59 pm This year, the GOP is running a bunch of ultra-rich candidates in battleground states who can bankroll their own campaigns. Without grassroots donations to help Democrats get our message out, voters will be overwhelmed by these millionaires' slick, negative ads. But with these lower fundraising projections, it’ll be nearly impossible to hire enough staff, recruit enough volunteers, and send enough resources to where they're needed to protect our Democratic majority. The bottom line is this: We had a plan to defend the Senate, but we need YOU with us to execute it. [So, I'm personally asking: Will you help us fight for a Democratic majority by rushing a donation of $5 or even more to set our senators up for victory this fall?]( We need your help to defend our Senate majority.
