Please, your help is critical: Friend, The Senate will soon hold a decisive floor vote on the historic nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. This is a pivotal moment, and the only reason we’re able to even talk about voting on Judge Jackson's nomination is because of our narrow 50-50 Senate majority. [Defending that narrow majority is critical to our future progress, which is why I’m asking for your help today. I set a goal of raising $25,000 by midnight for the DSCC to help us win this fight, so please, make a $5 contribution now.]( I watched Mitch McConnell single-handedly sink President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee when Republicans were in the majority. The only reason he can’t do the same thing to Judge Jackson is because this grassroots team flipped the Senate. If we'd fallen short by even one seat, it would have been up to Mitch McConnell to decide whether Judge Jackson even got a hearing. And after witnessing first-hand the unrelenting, scurrilous attacks some of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle leveled against Judge Jackson in the Committee room, we no longer have to guess what Sen. McConnell would have done with her nomination. He wouldn't have even let her through the doorway. That’s why defending our razor-thin Senate majority is so critical. We can’t risk giving Mitch McConnell the power to block President Biden’s judicial nominees and move the Supreme Court even further to the right. [Please, chip in $5 now to the DSCC to help protect our Senate majority from falling back into Mitch McConnell's hands >>]( We need your help to defend our Senate majority.
