Gannon --------------------------------------------------------------- [Fujifilm X-H2S review]( We’ve wrapped up our review of the X-H2S to see what Fujifilm’s latest high-end APS-C camera has to offer. While you’ll have to read through the whole review to get our comprehensive thoughts, the long and short of it is the X-H2S is essentially a mirrorless successor to the high-end APS-C DSLRs we used to see from the likes of Canon and Nikon – but even better, thanks to its high-quality 4K video capture. [Canon files patent application for liquid-cooled cameras]( It’s not likely we’ll be seeing this in any Canon camera in the near future, but it’s an interesting concept nonetheless. News updates [Seeing in the dark: Google researchers use AI to create novel HDR views from noisy raw images]( Published Thursday, August 25, 2022 6:16:00 PM GMT Google researchers have used Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) and high dynamic range raw input data to create HDR view synthesis with extremely low noise and high levels of detail. [Update (release date and pricing added): Tamron announces 50–400mm F4.5–6.3 Di III VC VXD lens for Sony E-mount]( Published Thursday, August 25, 2022 4:47:00 PM GMT Tamron doesn't share the optical construction of the lens, nor what the expected retail price will be, but does say the lens should be available in 'Fall 2022,' pending the 'global health crisis.' [Corsair's new flexible 45" 4K OLED monitor goes from flat to curved]( Published Thursday, August 25, 2022 3:53:00 PM GMT The Corsair Xeneon Flex OLED monitor has an incredible transforming trick – it can easily go from flat to curved. Built upon LG Display's flexible OLED panel technology, the 45" bendable display has a 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. [This 3D-printed 163mm F2.5 lens was made for around $15]( Published Tuesday, August 23, 2022 6:09:00 PM GMT Pixels and Prisms is a new resource for open-source photography projects. Its first project is a 163mm F2.5 telephoto lens for Canon EF-mount cameras. The project uses around $15 worth of materials and includes fully adjustable focus and aperture mechanisms. [DJI's Mavic 3 drone granted very first EASA C1 certificate, giving Europeans more flight flexibility]( Published Tuesday, August 23, 2022 4:24:00 PM GMT DJI's Mavic 3 series recently received the very first C1 drone certificate. With a C1-compliant firmware update, drone pilots in the European Union will have more flexibility for where they can operate.
