[Right Side of History]( {NAME}, The Senate may be in recess now, but Tommy Tuberville packed up and went home fully intent on continuing his un-American assault on the military. For 147 days now, Tuberville has held up the promotions of generals and flag officers in all branches of our military. We still don't have a confirmed Marine Commandant. Soon we will not have confirmed heads of the Army and Navy or even a Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. And down the ranks promotions and transfers are starting to pile up. Families and young children have no idea where they'll be at the start of the school year. And Tuberville's attack on the rights of over 200,000 active-duty women continues unabated. It’s disgraceful. It’s unpatriotic. The outrage is growing. More and more folks around the country are seeing these antics for what they are – playing politics with our military. But Tuberville hasn't moved, which means we can't let up now. We have to make sure that Tuberville knows that the people of this country won’t stand for his political games that damage military morale and weaken national security. [Today, I'm asking you to stand with me and add your name: Demand Tommy Tuberville stand down and stop his un-American assault on the military](. We made history together in 2017 because people were able to come together, put partisanship aside, and say enough was enough to extremism. Now I'm asking all Americans, regardless of how you feel about reproductive rights, regardless of your political stripes, to come together and make your voice heard. Together we can make a difference. Whether you are an Independent, Republican, or Democrat, if you support a strong national defense and our military men and women, I encourage you to add your name. That is all I am asking – add your name. We intend to collect names throughout the Senate recess. When the Senate comes back into session in early September we’ll make sure the petition is delivered to his office by veterans of each branch of service. It's time to show Tuberville and other MAGA extremists that we can put our differences aside for the sake of our country. We know this attack on women and our military isn't stopping without us stepping up the pressure. You see what Tommy Tuberville is trying to get away with. [Let's stand together and make it clear: We, all Americans of goodwill, demand Tommy Tuberville stand down. Add your name and join me now >>]( -Doug Jones Paid for by Right Side of History PAC.
