{NAME}, Democratic control over the Senate rests on a handful of key Senate races, and my friend Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is running in one of the tightest races out there. Catherine has been instrumental in the Senate, providing crucial votes in advancing huge Democratic victories such as The Inflation Reduction Act and The CHIPS ACT. It is also a well-established fact that the Senator is one of the most effective Democratic Senators at reaching across the aisle. She’s led bipartisan legislation to reduce law enforcement suicide and human trafficking. After working with her to introduce a bill promoting STEM education and apprenticeship training, I can vouch for her outstanding legislative abilities. [Catherine is one of the most effective voices in the Senate, and she’s running in a tight election to hold the Democratic majority. Can you split a contribution to support her and help elect other important candidates across the country?]( Her opponent Adam Laxalt would bring the exact opposite voice to the U.S. Senate. His election would break the Democratic majority in the Senate, he was caught behind closed doors calling Roe v. Wade a “joke” and could very well be the deciding vote on a national abortion ban. He also opposed the Inflation Reduction Act, meaning he would vote against any meaningful Democratic legislation on climate change, health care, and tax reform. But like many of these candidates, Adam Laxalt gets worse. He led Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn Nevada’s 2020 election results. That’s right, Adam Laxalt is one of those “Big Lie” candidates, and he’s looking to pass his baseless conspiracies into law. So not only will Adam Laxalt destroy the future of the Democratic agenda, his candidacy represents an existential risk to democracy itself. This race is expected to be one of the closest and most expensive in the country. I really can’t imagine two more different candidates than Senator Catherine Cortez Masto and Adam Laxalt. But luckily, the political winds are blowing our way, and as long as we all rally by her side, I know the Senator will pull this one out. [{NAME}, pitch in to my candidate split with Catherine today and let’s make sure we hold the Senate majority.]( -Doug Paid for by Right Side of History PAC.
