[Right Side of History]( {NAME}, Yesterday was a big day for Alabama. It was a day that broke all kinds of barriers and gave us hope for the future. It was a day where we saw years of hard work and countless institutional battles pay off. It was a day when African Americans in Alabama took a giant step closer to achieving fairer representation in Congress. In November, Shomari Figures will represent us in the fight against MAGA. I can’t stress to you how important this race is. The Supreme Court has given us a major opportunity here to take back a district that would further shrink a GOP majority and give us the chance to elect a real representative. One who will fight for Alabama. Along with the opportunity to make change, we also have the opportunity to make history. With a win, Shomari would become the second African-American and second Democrat in the state’s seven-member delegation in the U.S. House of Representatives. This would be huge in the name of progress and huge for Alabamians. So, folks, I’m asking you to keep all of this in mind. I’m asking you to remember how groundbreaking and important this race is. I’m asking you to think about what’s really at stake if we don’t flip this seat in November. Shomari has the drive, experience, and charisma to make it in Washington, but he’s going to need our support. This race is critical to Southern progress, so naturally, RSOH will be deeply involved. [If you’re able, please consider pitching in with a split contribution to helping Shomari and helping us elect leaders like him in November >>]( -Doug Paid for by Right Side of History PAC.
