How much do childcare workers earn and what are their demographic characteristics in your state? What does the map show for construction workers? Judaline Cassidy, founder of Tools & Tiaras and a woman plumber in a male-dominated field herself, created the camp to show girls that “jobs don’t have genders.” - [Read our blog on the importance of building pathways to good jobs for women]( - [Explore the impact of racial and gender inequality on women]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [winc] WB regional administrator Nicole Neri and program analyst Rose Holandez, along with Secretary Marty Walsh, toured the WINC (Women in Nontraditional Careers)–Philadelphia Works facility on July 14. The group met with a pre-apprenticeship cohort in their third day of training to enter Registered Apprenticeship programs or other careers in the trades. Wade and emphasized the connection between reproductive autonomy and a woman’s ability to get an education, participate in the labor force and increase her lifetime earning potential. Wade]( - [See the White House factsheet on protecting access to reproductive healthcare services]( --------------------------------------------------------------- New Federal Programs & Resources 120-Day Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Sprint This month, the departments of Labor and Commerce kicked off a 120-Day Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Sprint, an effort to use Registered Apprenticeships to build a skilled, diverse cybersecurity workforce. Registered Apprenticeships are a proven earn-as-you-learn model and a pathway to good quality, high-wage jobs.
