Join us for the special fire side chat Celebrating Women Workers who Advocate for Change [] [WB Updates Header]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [About Us]( [News]( [Data]( [Contact Us]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Women's History Month Event] --------------------------------------------------------------- April 1, 2024, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT IN-PERSON | VIRTUAL To close out Women’s History Month, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau and Chief Diversity & Equity Office will be hosting an event to shine a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of women workers this Monday, April 1st from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Keynote remarks will be provided by Acting Secretary Julie Su, followed by a fireside chat discussion moderated by Women’s Bureau Director Wendy Chun-Hoon. The fireside chat will feature incredible speakers, including: - Dulce Ceballos, Domestic Worker, Member of National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) - Rochelle Ramsey-Walker, IUPAT DC51, Co-Founder of DMV Tradeswomen - Pennsylvania State Senator Maria Collett, Senate District 12  - Jessica Tang, American Federation of Teachers Vice President  - Mana Shim, Professional Soccer Player HOW TO JOIN US If you plan to attend in person, please register [here]( to ensure your name is on the security list. Please arrive at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Frances Perkins Building (200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20210) between 12:15 pm-12:45 pm to allow enough time to go through security and sign-in. A government-issued ID is required to enter the building (no exceptions). Note that the visitor’s entrance is located at the northeast corner of Constitution Ave and 3rd St NW.
