Congress members AND the American Bar Association are calling for a code of ethics for Supreme Court

Congress members AND the American Bar Association are calling for a code of ethics for Supreme Court Justices so they can be held accountable…   It’s clear that the Supreme Court is no longer an impartial, fair branch of government. For over 20 years, Justice Thomas has accepted luxury trips nearly every year from Harlan Crowe, a GOP mega-donor – never disclosing them. But that’s not all: Reporting from The Washington Post recently revealed that Clarence Thomas’s wife, Ginni Thomas, collected over half a million dollars to fund a right-wing activist group while she spread the Big Lie. Not to mention that the Supreme Court bowed down to right-wing pressure campaigns to reverse Roe v. Wade – instead of upholding legal precedent. Members of Congress AND the American Bar Association are calling for a code of ethics for Supreme Court Justices so they can be held accountable for conflicts of interest. It’s time we make sure that our justices decide cases for us – not special interest groups. [So, what do you think? Take our poll now to share with us if you support a code of ethics for the highest justices in the land >>]( Do you support a code of ethics for Supreme Court justices? Yes No Unsure [Answer now →]( The other two branches of the federal government have ethical standards they must adhere to – the Supreme Court should too. Our nine justices serve for life – giving them a lot of power for a long time in determining the rights and freedoms of Americans. That’s why it’s imperative that we trust them to adhere to the Constitution and put the laws of this country first. Anyone making legal decisions that affect hundreds of millions of people should never have a conflict of interest, and that’s why Congress is considering a law that would create a code of ethics for Supreme Court justices. But before it makes its way through the legislature, we at the DLCC want to get an accurate read on what our grassroots supporters think about instituting this code. [What do you say – can you answer our poll?]( [TAKE THE POLL →]( Thanks, -Team DLCC [DONATE >>](     Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee 1225 Eye Street NW Suite 1250, Washington, DC 20005 Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
