There is nothing “free” about second-guessing a simple trip to the grocery store or sending your kids to school because your state government hasn't done anything to protect you from a mass shooting. There’s nothing “free” about living somewhere with poor air or water quality because your state government has given businesses a free pass to pollute. Republican politicians aren’t interested in freedom. They’re interested in total power and control. That’s why it’s so critical that state legislatures are lead by pro-choice, pro-gun safety, and pro-democracy Democrats.
