This is how you hit 10k streams on Spotify in less than 3 days, with no playlists. I was messaging one of my DK-MBA members about their release on Spotify which has smashed 10k streams in less than 3 days. And today I wanted to tell you exactly how you can make this happen for your music. And no, it doesn't happen overnight! But it can happen in the space of a few months when you put the work in. This is the secret: we DON'T focus on Spotify first. But Damian, isn't the whole point focusing on Spotify? If we focus solely on Spotify, all that happens is we get a few numbers (usually not where we want them to be) and then nothing happens afterwards. The people listening get lost to the abyss as they're not directly contactable and you don't have access to that data. Spotify is a by-product of what happens when you get everything else right. So what do we do instead? We focus on each and every fan that comes through your socials and then utilise urgency and excitement to bring them over to Spotify to spike the algorithm on release day. Alongside this, we utilise paid advertising campaigns both to bring new fans in AND to retarget fans over to Spotify too.  Done successfully, we end up with a triangle which looks like this: Interestingly, when you add in bring in content on socials and ads, you don't double your chances of streams, you 10x them. Also, even if you don't get Editorial Playlists on day 1, bringing in these streams means you a far more likely for Editorial Playlists to pick you up post release. A lot of the time the algorithm wants to see how well a track has done initially and then it will progress it. So this is how we make sure you get thousands of Spotify plays within days and not hundreds. Damian. PS, If you want this for your music, [click this link to get started working with me in my Academy]( A question I get asked when I share messages is can I message you 1-1, the answer is yes, just choose the Pro option in the Academy and you can message me today. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
