No streams or tonnes of streams... comes down to THIS

Do you know the single biggest lever you can pull to get more streams? The one element that makes the biggest difference between generating no streams... some streams... or ALL of the streams? I'll give you a hint. Other people may say... "Keep telling people to stream" Or... "Make sure your link in bio is set up properly" But no one thinks about the the actual reason why they don't get streams. And the reason is... When was the last time you streamed something, or did anything just because someone told you to with no information whatsoever? I see it from artists all the time where they send me their ads and the video just says "new song, out now" No one is going to click and then stream based off that information. Think about it... You put your heart and soul into creating music with stories and emotion. Then when you come to promote it, you just say "out now".
