This email will give you a free content idea that you can utilise TODAY to get more eyes and ears on you and your music.  And it's only going to take a few minutes ⏰ Instead of just posting your music today with "this is my new song" (this is hard to get to work well), format it slightly differently and gain more retention, meaning you then get pushed out further (more views, more followers, more fans and more streams). 1. Record you performing to your song with your iPhone. 2. Take the context of your song (in this example, it's a love song, but it could be "instead of breaking up say this..."). 3. Add in a letter for every word in the verse/chorus (whichever you've used). Now this is why this works... EVERYONE goes "this is my new song" and people are instantly thinking you just want them to go to Spotify - which is what you want, but it ISN'T what they want. What they want is to be entertained with something they like.  And with these piece of content, you're providing more entertainment through tracking the letters of where you're at in the song, a level of mystery and calling out emotion in the beginning too. All of these factors together means that your RETENTION is longer, meaning that the platform knows that you are valuable and it will PUSH it out to new places, meaning new potential fans. This is about being SMART with your music promotion and knowing what someone else wants, which in turn gives you what you want :) Now... You might be thinking, thanks for this Damian but I need more ideas than this but it's also completely overwhelming. So what if I was to tell you that I'VE FIXED IT! You can get access to more ideas without doing ANYTHING at all. I am so incredibly stoked to announce my brand new concept, The Content Hacker. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
