Some low life is out there pretending to be me and I need to warn you. This is a serious message... 👇 Even if you don't read any of my emails, please do read this one.  I don't want you falling for this and it truly sucks that someone is low enough to do this. If you see anyone called Damian Keyes on Telegram (somehow they've managed to get it verified?!), ignore them and report ❌ So I asked Mirella on our team to message and strike a conversation to see what they'd do so I can make you aware. This is how it went... Ok first of all... "I put a lot of time to put out those quality content it warms my heart to see my hard work appreciated" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! How do they sleep at night? This is just ridiculous. Honestly, I can't get over how crazy this is. I have spent my entire adult life working with artists (I'm 46 years old and started my University BIMM at age 23). And for someone to think it's acceptable to steal my identity and sell completely fake products just isn't acceptable. I will never offer to promote you, that's not something I do. I give you the tools to get your music heard, the problem is everyone wants the magic pill and that's how these awful people end up getting paid. If it seems too good to be true, it almost definitely is. To be honest, whenever anyone online offers to promote you, it's a red flag 🚩 There's sharks out there and it's getting harder to work out who is real and who isn't. Shock... He was never then around for a call. I WONDER WHY!! OK, REAL TALK. I'll be completely honest with you, no bs. I'm really angry. But more so then being angry, I'm completely gutted. I know this guy will have taken money from independent artists and I'm really really upset about that. I try SO hard to be a good guy (in a world of sharks) and do everything I can and I wish there was something more I can do about this. In the message above - they've left their fake email address above. So you do what you want to do with that information! SO WHAT NOW? I can't change that someone is impersonating me. If it isn't this person, it'll just be someone else. All I can do is raise awareness and keep working on my mission to get as many independent artists heard in the new music industry. But today, I'm wondering what I can do to make it better for you. And what I can do to make your life easier today, Friday 15th December. I want to do something to apologise to you guys. So... I have a document called The 50 Days of Content - it sells on it's own for $199  and I gave it as an added bonus with Lifetime Memberships on Black Friday for $349. It's 50 pieces of developed content ideas with examples and links so you can replicate for your own socials, it takes out all of the work. I created it for a label I'm working with and to be honest, I shouldn't be just giving it away. But I'm gutted about this situation and I want to do something to help today. For today only (and I mean today only), I'll email it over (completely for free) to each person who joins the Academy with a Pro Membership. This is one slide of the document: I'm going to offer this for just ONE DAY today for new Pro Members (I'm sorry, I can't do it for just Monthly). I won't be sending another email about it, this is the only email. And I hope I won't regret this decision as I really could get in trouble for sharing it. If you want the document then get a free trial (click PRO) at DK Music Business Academy today ⏬ [Get My 7 Day Free Trial and 50 Days of Content]( Ends midnight, Damian PS. As a final note, PLEASE if you are suspicious of anyone, my only official channels of communication are this email and @damiankeyes1 on Instagram and @damiankeyes on TikTok and my YouTube channel which is verified. If someone messages you, message me before doing anything. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
