You may have seen recently that I've launched my brand new programme from September - December this

You may have seen recently that I've launched my brand new programme from September - December this year called The Backstage Pass.  The Backstage Pass offers you the opportunity to work with me closer on your music with more accountability and more personal feedback on your music and content. At this point, I've made it clear on what The Backstage Pass can do for you, what's involved and why you should join. But today I'm going to do something different. Most people would be terrified to do this, but I pride myself on being a pretty honest person so today I'm going to tell you why you shouldn't join. So now you'll probably be thinking, why would I want to turn people away? The answer for this is because I know what it's like to wonder "is this right for me" and crave an honest answer without the BS. Also, The Backstage Pass isn't perfect and isn't for everyone. I have a cap on people joining and selfishly, I'd quite like the most hard-working people to join so we can achieve the best results. So, who shouldn't be joining The Backstage Pass? First up... The Backstage Pass isn't for anyone who makes excuses about why something hasn't happened yet. Why? Excuses are an easy way for us to justify our actions. Taking ownership is where the real strength is - it's ok to not have done something yet, but it's not ok to justify it with an excuse. Being in music takes real work, it's crazy competitive and you need to be fully self aware. You're going to have good days and bad days and need to be able to understand the overall process and take ownership of it. Secondly... If you're someone that watches a lot of content but doesn't take action, The Backstage Pass isn't for you. Why? Unlike the Academy, The Backstage Pass is focused around accountability and action. This means that it'll be pretty awkward between us if you say you're going to do something and then don't. Courses are great, but it's the action that makes the difference. Thirdly... If you're someone that isn't flexible about how they do things, then don't join me. Why? Lots of people aren't open to the fact that they may not be running things in the best way they can. They're defensive about their processes and to really succeed, you need to be open to new ways to looking at things and changing up how you work. And finally... Forging a career in music is challenging and you have to be willing to bet on yourself if you're going to succeed. I built The Backstage Pass for people who want to take it a step further and utilise the rest of the year in the best possible way to succeed. If this sounds like you, then I want to work with you on your music in The Backstage Pass. It's a steep learning curve, but we'll do this together. Important: The Backstage Pass enrollment ends THIS FRIDAY! After that there will be no more entries as we start on Monday. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
