Happy Monday team. If last week didn't work out well for you, let's start fresh with a new week, a new mindset and new opportunities. And I get it... Social media sucks. I don't think I've ever met an artist who is like "I LOVE SOCIAL MEDIA" It just isn't a thing. But you do have artists who understand the power of it, understand that sadly it's a necessity in 2024 and how you can use it to your advantage. Here's 5 reasons why social media sucks... 1. There is ENDLESS competition for content saying “I have a new song”.  However, with a lot of competition comes a potential of a huge audience, whilst it’s noisy out there, it’s also never been easier to find your audience. 2.  There is a lot of pressure to constantly create and it can cause burnout.  This is a problem to be solved, batching content or coming up with easy-to-repeat formats makes this easier as it takes out the anxiety of overthinking. 3.  Algorithms are constantly changing.  But by understanding how they work on a psychological basis outside, you stand a better chance at getting heard.  4. Social media opens the door to keyboard warriors who hide behind anonymity. Harsh comments and trolls can hurt, and dealing with them is never easy.  Always remember that they’re unhappy with their own life and it isn’t a reflection on you. 5.  It can give a false illusion of success making you feel like you’re not achieving enough.  Try and realize this is fake, success isn’t about likes and followers, it’s about real emotional connection. I hope you have a great day and a great week ahead. Check your inboxes for an email from me tomorrow as I have a new YouTube video coming out. If you want to work together further I have two options currently: 1. The less expensive option is in my Academy, DK Music Business Academy. You can get everything you need for [less than your Starbucks coffee here]( 2. If you want to work on your socials with my team, [head over here for more info]( (this is more expensive) See you this week and look out for a free YouTube video tomorrow :) Damian ….. 🎮 POST GAME EMAIL MENU 📢 THE INTRODUCTION  ▶️ Hey, I'm Damian and I'm here to help you get your music heard. 🧢 WHERE TO GET STARTED ▶️ I recommend everyone starts at [dk-mba.com]( with the Roadmap To 1 Million Streams 2.0. If you want a 1-1 consultation, reply to this email for the current rates (it isn't cheap because it's based on my time). 🔥 WORK WITH ME FURTHER (click below for more info) I’m very transparent with my services. I'm proud to have the world’s largest music business Academy, with over 11,000 students and there are a few different ways to work with me with differing budgets (I always want to make sure everyone has access to the best education). ▶️ [The World’s Largest Music Business Academy, DK-MBA]( ▶️ [The Content Hacker (social media ideas to your inbox every week)]( ▶️ [1-1 Consultations]( ▶️ [My Social Media Agency For Artists, DK Social]( 🌎 DON'T TRUST ME?  ▶️  A bit of background (the internet is deeply untrusting understandably), I co-founded a University in Europe called BIMM which is the largest of its kind in the world and is valued at $300M. I started YouTube around 5 years ago and have around 800+ free videos with over 14M+ views. My Academy launched in 2020 and has over 11K+ students internationally. In 2023 I launched DK Social, a new social media agency specifically for artists. ❓ HELP! ▶️ Have a question? Ping a reply back and either me or one of my team will be on hand to help. 📱ARE YOU REAL? ▶️ I am! Want to connect on socials? I’m @damiankeyes1 on Insta or @damiankeyes on TikTok. 😵 QUIT GAME ▶️ Do you hate me? I know, I'm quite annoying. Hit the unsubscribe button below and if you're really angry, hit it harder and it'll make you feel better.  💀 IF YOU'RE AN IMPOSTER... ▶️ I get that it's a compliment but people steal my education all of the time and it's kinda annoying. If you're planning on using this email for your own gain, just don't be that person. 💌 SEND MAIL ▶️ Fan mail, death threats and gifts of expensive guitars can be dispatched via messenger kangaroo to hello@dk-mba.com.
