Today we're going to to ask you to share your worst/best holiday gig stories. Reply to this email and share yours! I'll start with one from an old coworker back in my mobile DJ days: "At a swanky New Year's Eve hotel party I was DJing, the night took a wild turn with some powerful confetti cannons unleashed a tsunami of paper - far more than anyone thought was going to burst out - engulfing the nicely dressed guests. Then, just in time for the midnight countdown, my fog machine got stuck in the "on" mode without me noticing - transformed the dance floor into a dense, sweet smelling cloud, adding to the surreal atmosphere. No one could see 3 feet in front of them. In the midst of this foggy, confetti-covered chaos, an elderly uncle began a surprising mix of breakdancing and interpretive dance, quickly becoming the center of attention - but eventually knocked into an ice sculpture – a majestic swan." - [Worst DJ Gigs Ever?]( on the subject of bad gigs, here's one of my favorite series we did on DJTT: worst gigs ever. Do you have one to share? reply and tell me. - [Roli Seaboard Rise 2 review]( MPE is a pretty powerful tool - but have you used any hardware with it yet? We've got a review of Roli's new offering - [Our store is in EMERGENCY LOOP]( "Someone" tried to unplug their discount USB without ejecting it first, and now our store is stuck in a loop giving out discounts left and right. We'll get it fixed but in the meantime you can probably slip a few more orders in if you missed out last week. This DJTT newsletter is brought to you by Focusrite, who want to share: [Circuit Tracks, the all-in-one groovebox is now $50 OFF for a Limited Time](. Featuring two polyphonic synth tracks, two MIDI tracks, four sample-based drum tracks, and onboard FX, Tracks gives you all need to create and perform music. want to not hear from the DJ Techtools email train anymore? all good, just [un sub here]( and we'll stop - but we'll miss talking to ya.
