The younger son of crime writer and National Hunt jockey Dick Francis, Felix assisted his father with both the research and writing of his award-winning novels. Since Dick's death, Felix has written ten successful novels, using the same gripping formula that has been loved by generations. Felix will talk about this collaborative writing and how he researches his storylines including Crisis, which was one of many books solely based in Newmarket. The presentation will take place in the illustrious headquarters of the Jockey Club Rooms which were aptly featured in many of the books. Tickets are priced £15 and include a glass of prosecco. The event kicks off at the Clock Tower from 5 pm where multi-award-winning magician and member of the prestigious Magic Circle, Jez Bond, will play host to the evening’s proceedings. Many people will remember Jez for his amazing performance on Britain’s Got Talent last year and we can’t wait to see him in action here in Newmarket.
