Happy belated New Years! Sorry, I haven't emailed since late last month. Back in December, I was writing to you about how much mullah online review and comparison web sites were making. I was all set to start the new year off with a bang when things quickly got derailed. Call it karma, call it what you want, but it's not a good idea to walk around a house full of sick kids with your chest puffed out explaining how great your immune system is. Don't rub salt into a wound by telling them that they should take a lesson from their father on how to stay healthy. [Turn On Images] Oh boy, I didn't see that Mack Truck coming straight at me until the morning of January 3rd. The rest is history. I'm pretty sure I caught one of those new Covid variants floating around. The loss of 7-8 work days pretty much confirms that. So all those great execution plans that I had scheduled for the first week of 2024 did not get done. Listen, crap happens. And it will continue to happen. A plan that has only YOU as the person executing will never grow your business fast enough. If you remember, I was struggling to hire a new full-time graphic designer because I was overwhelmed with over 100 different resumes. Well, good news! I delegated the task of pruning the list down to a team member to the 10 best candidates and I just hired a new graphic designer today from that pruned list. See, even lying in bed (in between deathly cough attacks) I still managed to move the needle in my business. Use money to leverage time. A few years back, I shared a great post that marketer Travis Sago posted to his FB group. Here it is again: Money trickles in hard and thorny when you’re obsessed with money. Money flows in furiously easy and silky when you’re obsessed with leverage. The money-obsessed trade their most valuable assets; time and energy, for money. The leverage-obsessed eagerly trade money for more leverage. Monetary wealth is largely determined by our ability to get control of assets (leverage), clone assets into new assets (with leverage), and cash flow efficiently (leverage). Rooting For Ya, Travis Every time I read this, it reminds me to stop wasting my time and leverage the time of others. We only have so much of it. Talk soon, [Turn On Images] Gauher Chaudhry P.S. I was planning on doing a 2024 workshop on how I plan to triple my affiliate commissions for the year. Unfortunately, I didn't get the 100 replies I was looking for to make it happen. Instead I recorded it as part of the monthly virtual boardroom call I do for Digital Sumo Elite members.
