When Apple decided to start blocking third party cookies with their new privacy laws, this wrecked havoc for companies like Facebook who depended on this data for their advertisers. Why? Because tracking is everything and if Facebook couldn't properly track IOS data anymore, their machine learning could no longer effectively optimize campaigns for advertisers. Many advertisers had highly profitable campaigns become absolute losers. Mark Zuckerberg has estimated that Apple's privacy laws had cost Facebook about $10 billion in lost revenue. Maybe you were one of the Facebook advertisers who was hurt by these changes? Both Facebook and Google have made adjustments to better track IOS data because they know "data" is the new oil. Proper tracking is vitally important to the success of any online business. Here are 4 reasons why tracking matters... Reason #1: Allows you to close the loop & gain an understanding of your real customers (and leads). This means better ads, better copy, and higher conversions. Reason #2: You’re doing yourself a great disservice when sending partial (or zero) 'signals' back to Ad Networks' AI, which helps them optimize faster and send you better traffic. Scaling ad spend is severely limited by your ability to track. Reason #3: The only funnel or campaign component you can get right WITHOUT spending a single cent, rupiah, or peso in traffic. Every other element requires capital to validate (this is free money). Reason #4: Most of the time, it's so badly executed you'll have an immediate competitive advantage over your competitors. And it can't be copied...your competitors can't funnel hack your tracking prowess. I'll be doing a live workshop with tracking expert Nik Thakorlal tomorrow to teach you what you need to know about proper tracking. If you're looking to make more income from selling products or from your affiliate efforts, you need to be on this workshop. Join us on June 15th @ 1:00 pm ET.
