Ah yes, the big question... If you're currently selling your own product or service, you're probably wondering if you should have a Black Friday/Cyber Monday (BFCM) sale? [Turn On Images] Well if you do have your own product or service, then the resounding answer is YES! Weird that I'm writing that considering I've never done a BFCM sale for any of my Digital Sumo products. Chalk that up to laziness, stupidity or ignorance, etc. The reality is that whenever you run a sale to your audience, you WILL make more money. I have friends in various niches who run a sale on ANY holiday they can come up with because they make bursts of quick sales. Your audience is always looking for deals and the more opportunities you offer deals, the more money you'll make. I have to admit, I'm surprised by the number of emails I've received in the last few days from prospects asking me if I'll be offering a BFCM discount for any of my traffic courses. The answer is yes and I'll be sharing those deals over the next few days. Listen, with the upcoming recession, I understand prospects will want to save money and get the best deal. You need to think the same way and don't hesitate to reach out to your audience multiple times during the BFCM weekend. I have friends who send out 10-15 emails a day to their email list during the BFCM period. Don't worry, I won't do that to you. ;) So the next question you might be wondering is what to do if you're an affiliate marketer during BFCM? Well, there are a lot of affiliate programs that will allow you to piggyback off their own BFCM sale promos. So promote those to your audience and you'll see a spike in your affiliate commissions. In fact, even running paid ads to those affiliate sales promos might result in some quick wins for you. If you're in the USA, enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow!
