Hey, it's Gauher and I hope you had an amazing weekend. I was doing a lot of thinking lately and have to admit that I still have regrets with regards to my online businesses. I started my first email list all the way back in 1997 and here we are 25 years later with email marketing still the reigning king of ROI. I wish I had gone ALL in on email marketing and just focused on ONE thing... ...building THIS specific email list. When I look at EVERYTHING I have accomplised over the last 25 years marketing online, nothing beats how much money I've made from my Internet marketing email list. Here are my biggest regrets with regards to building my Internet marketing list over the last 25 years. 1. Not nearly emailing this list enough. 2. Not actively generating organic and paid traffic to build this email list. 3. Not regularly creating new products to market to this list. If I had been consistently focused on the above, I have no doubt this email list would be over 500,000 readers and I could be easily making five-figures in sales with a single email promotion. It's crazy when you think about it. But that's the power of email marketing. Whether you're promoting your own products or doing an affiliate promotion, your email list is your tribe. These are people who want to hear from and learn from you. The biggest single affiliate promotion I've ever made to this email list generated over $350K in gross sales. Half of that was my affiliate cut. Imagine doing an affiliate promotion like that each month?! Unfortunately I got distracted and went on to chase other much less rewarding shiny objects. This weekend was a reality check for me and my goal is to double the size of this list in the next 12 months. And I know the exact steps to do that. It's never too late to start your own email list. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
