Hey {NAME}, If you're doing any sort of email marketing, your world is about to be rocked this coming September. That's when Apple will start to block email service providers from being able to track open rates on email messages sent from their platforms. Yup. That little 1x1 invisible pixel will no longer fire when someone opens your emails on an Apple device. Apple is calling this "Mail Privacy Protection." This bites because most marketers use email open rates as their main metric (although it is flawed) on how people engage with their emails. I'm fairly certain email service providers will adapt and find a new way to track open rates, but if you're doing any email marketing, you'll need to adapt in the meantime. Open rates have always been a vanity metric to begin with and don't put money in your bank account at the end of day. What does put money in your bank account is readers who click on your email links and buy your products or affiliate recommendations. One of the items I'll be changing is the automation I use in my email service provider to clean out non-engaged subscribers. We won't be able to rely on accurate open rates in the near future, so the next best thing is "click" rates. You want people on your email list who are clicking on the links in your emails. This is a WAY better measurement of engagement then just the open rate. But ultimately the best measurement of success is linking back revenues and affiliate commissions to the clicks from each email you send out. Start planning now because September will come a lot faster then you think. Talk soon, [Turn On Images] Gauher Chaudhry P.S. [Click on this link](. It just goes to the Digital Sumo home page. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
