Tips to increase webinar signups There are two drop-off points in every webinar funnel: registration and attendance. Of late, we are seeing the webinar turnout ratio is somewhere around 15-20% on average. This means if 100 people register, then the attendance stands at 15 to 20. Here are some ideas and tips to increase attendance by 5 to10%: - Always send three emails - the first email before 24 hours, the second email before 1 hour of the webinar and another email before 15 minutes of the webinar. Most of the people fail at this and only one send one reminder before the webinar. Always schedule three.
- A lot of times, the emails land into spam boxes or promotions, so check the email content and see which tabs they land into by going to gmass.co/inbox and testing your email content.
- Using PabblyConnect or Zapier, you can also automatically create calendar invites while users register on the landing page or the lead form, this creates another round of reminders via their calendars. It's completely automated, the users don't have to actually click on 'yes' and accept the calendar invite. This could be the biggest growth hack for you.
- On the thank you page of your landing page or if they sign up via Facebook lead form, have a WhatsApp group ready to push the audience there and then make them join (actually, you can have only one link and push the audience into 20 different groups - we will share this hack in the next newsletter.) Do these activities and trust me you will see a much better turnout ratio. 2. Use HARO for white-hat link building H.A.R.O. stands for help a reporter and it basically connects journalists seeking expertise to include in their content with sources who have that expertise. This is NOT some tool that builds links for you. Think of it as a tool that helps you get EARNED backlinks so it's literally the opposite of "these link building tools." Most other tools are playing in the grey-hat or black-hat space. This tool is enabling you to better manage link building which is as white-hat as you can get in terms of link building because it's all EARNED media. Journalists ask for expert contributions for their articles. You respond to them with something useful and quickly (as they get a lot). So there are 3 things that matter to win more placements: 1. Speed - the quicker you respond to the journalists, the more likely they're to view and include your response.
2. Quality - the quality of your submission matters. Sending junk will result in a waste of time. Make your responses relevant and meaningful to what the journalist wants
3. Volume - The more opportunities you pursue, the more chances you'll get a link. 4. Operations - For SEOs, link builders, and brands relying on traffic/domain authority, this website helps to keep all the PR efforts in sync in one place. 3. Short Video Content is the future TikTok got more traffic than Google last year! Wow! Yes! Tiktok has more traffic than Google! That sentence has a ton of implications for marketers. Here’s one: Search might start getting much more visual. But there's a core change happening on the internet that threatens Google in a serious, potentially existential way. An increasingly large amount of the web is not web pages full of text and hyperlinks. It's images, video and audio. TikTok and Instagram, podcasts and videos: Those platforms are just as much "the internet" as the Wikipedias and publisher sites Google has long relied on. ( Source: Protocol ) Believe it or not, the biggest growth hack you can do is to create short video content and start optimising the web for it. Use these REELS hacks to go viral 1. Use Read the caption to know more like CTAs so that people read the caption (write long ones) and the reel keeps playing. 2. Even if you're using voice-based audio, you can always add trending music in the background and reduce its sound. 3. Have a hook in the first 3 seconds. 4. The start and end of the reel can be similar, so it becomes a loop.
