Market News January 13, 2021 Market News [How Ring is making their systems more secure]( Thanks to new cybersecurity concerns, Ring has decided to roll out end-to-end encryption for many of its home security and surveillance devices. End-to-end encryption prevents hackers from intercepting your data midstream and decoding it. That means your Ring doorbell footage will be more secure with the new encryption protocol. The Amazon-owned company has been working on the new security feature for some time as digital privacy concerns grow. But not all Ring devices will get end-to-end encryption, with both battery and solar-powered devices excluded from the update. And only specific models of Ring's doorbells can utilize the protocol.
