Based on info from sources familiar with the project, the new Hub will utilize Google's Soli radar technology to track your sleeping habits. That's right - your next Google Hub will scan your body as you sleep to report restlessness and deep sleep statistics. Google came up with the idea after it realized Hub devices are more likely to be placed on nightstands in bedrooms since they lack cameras (no one wants to be spied on in their bedroom). The new tech will also allow hand gestures to play/pause music playback and snooze alarms.
