One surprising thing Google Home can do is make a restaurant reservation. All you have to say is “Ok Google, make a reservation for two at Smith Restaurant for today at 7 pm,” and the device does the rest of the work for you. Another trick your Google Home has up its sleeve is the ability to control volume in a surprisingly flexible and accurate way. Most people know they can tell their Google Home to turn the volume anywhere from one to 10, but did you know you can be a little more specific with it? You can also use half numbers to get the volume just right, as well as percentages. Simply say, “Hey Google, turn the volume down 50 percent,” or something similar to better control your device’s volume.
