With right-wing extremism on the rise we must challenge the spread of misinformation, and continue the fight for a progressive, democratic America. [Democracy for America Advocacy Fund](#) {NAME}, I’m not going to sugarcoat it, we are facing a tough battle. Over the last year, we’ve seen how Moms for Liberty, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Donald Trump, and the right-wing media machine have fortified their ranks by getting organized, and now they are winning. But even with so much against us, they do NOT always win. We defeated Trump in 2020. We held back the midterm election red wave. We will win again this year and in 2024. From 2018 to today, DFA's political action committee, advocacy fund, and members nationwide have helped elect new progressive leaders like AOC, Jamaal Bowman, and Rashida Tlaib and then pushed, supported, and passed progressive policy including the largest investments in fighting climate change, supporting children and education, and expanding healthcare to those in need. We succeed when we organize. We lose when we let right-wing extremists out-organize us. And democracy and the future of America hangs in the balance. That's why this fight can't wait. We must push back now. [Donate right now to fuel the massive effort it's going to take to out-organize the right wing, expand upon our progressive base, and counteract the destruction they are causing.]( [Donate Now]( Republicans win and take no prisoners in the quest for their hate-filled and bigoted agenda. Just look at how Mom’s For Liberty has pushed through thousands of book bans or how Trump has undermined our democratic institutions. As a progressive, grassroots organization, we fight against oppressive ideologies, right-wing misinformation campaigns, and politicians like Trump who strive to divide and conquer. And we support bold, progressive issues like ranked-choice voting. Our work is never just about one moment. It's about bringing people together around the issues that matter to all of us: voting rights, campaign finance reform, and electoral transparency -- a government that puts the people's interests first. But, the fact of the matter is, the amount of money we raise and -- more importantly -- the number of grassroots donors we have will directly fuel our efforts to take on the right-wing extremists who threaten to undermine our democracy and the progressive values we stand for. [We have to ensure we have what it takes to stop Trump and his ilk from utterly destroying our democracy -- will you pitch in $5 or more today to help us?]( Thank you for supporting DFA. Grassroots progressives like you are absolutely critical in making sure we have the resources we need to push back against the tide of right-wing extremism. - Amanda Amanda Ford, Director Democracy for America Advocacy Fund [Power This Campaign]( Democracy for America Advocacy Fund is a 501c4 organization.
