By refusing to give Moms for Liberty a platform, Facebook can take a stand against the dangerous ideologies of white supremacy and work towards building a more equitable and inclusive society. [Democracy for America Advocacy Fund](#) {NAME}, White supremacy operates as a dangerous and deeply ingrained ideology that perpetuates racial hierarchy and discrimination. It promotes the belief in the inherent superiority of white people while marginalizing and devaluing the experiences and contributions of people of color. Moms for Liberty's actions and rhetoric have been closely aligned with elements of white supremacy. By seeking to ban books that address issues of race, inclusivity, and LGBTQ+ rights, they reinforce a narrative that seeks to erase the history and experiences of marginalized communities. These actions not only contribute to the preservation of systemic racism but also foster an environment where intolerance and discrimination can thrive. Moms for Liberty's agenda, coupled with their affiliations with extremist groups involved in violent acts, including the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, underscores the urgent need to challenge and confront white supremacy in all its forms. Extremism breeds division, hatred, and violence. Allowing a group with extremist tendencies to reach a wide audience leads to the radicalization of individuals and the further polarization of society. [Moms for Liberty chapters spread across the country are using Facebook as a tool to organize for hate. Facebook has booted other extremists groups promoting hate and violence, they must do it again now to protect public safety and democratic values. Tell Facebook: Don’t give Moms for Liberty a platform to spread hate now.]( [Add Your Name]( In the digital age, social media platforms have become the world’s most powerful tools for communication and connection. With this power comes a great responsibility to ensure that these platforms are not misused to spread hate, misinformation, or fuel division. Facebook, being one of the largest and most influential platforms, must be vigilant in preventing the dissemination of hateful content and they have previously shown an understanding of the dangers posed by hate speech, extremist groups, and the promotion of violence. Facebook took decisive action against influential figures and organizations, such as the restrictions placed on former President Donald Trump and outright banning of the Proud Boys. Given this track record, Facebook most certainly, must take action against Moms for Liberty and its harmful agenda too. Moms for Liberty has been classified by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an "extremist anti-government" entity, placing it alongside notorious extremist groups the KKK and the Proud Boys (yup, them again, see their “values” are joined at the hip). Moms for Liberty has forced book bans in communities nationwide, organizing support with violent groups involved in the Capitol attack, and intimidating teachers, librarians and school boards across the country. Their efforts to eliminate inclusive education and suppress "hard history" topics demonstrate their agenda rooted in white supremacy. [Allowing Moms for Liberty a platform on Facebook only amplifies their harmful message and incitement of further violence and discrimination. Tell Facebook to prioritize the safety of its users and the preservation of democratic values by denying Moms for Liberty a platform for hate by adding your name now.]( Together, we can make a difference in promoting a more compassionate and tolerant online world. - Amanda Amanda Ford, Director Democracy for America Advocacy Fund [Power This Campaign]( Democracy for America Advocacy Fund is a 501c4 organization.
