They may pretend not to know what it is, but the GOP is already attempting to implement Project 2025

They may pretend not to know what it is, but the GOP is already attempting to implement Project 2025, including the plan to cut all Title X birth control and family planning healthcare funding. [Democracy for America Advocacy Fund](#) {NAME} For the Republican-led House Appropriations Committee, Project 2025 is already here. They just voted to completely terminate funding all Title X family planning and preventive healthcare services for 2.6 million low-income families in 2025. Title X’s reproductive health services include contraception, natural family planning, birth spacing, STI and HIV testing and treatment, infertility services, breast and pelvic exams, cervical cancer screenings, as well as community outreach and education. As the funding bill leaves the committee, it will go to the House for a vote. It’s time to send your representative a message: Don’t defund birth control! [Send a direct message to your Congressional Rep: Don't cut Title X funding! Maintain birth control access for millions of Americans now.]( [SIGN AND SEND]( Project 2025 calls for eliminating the phrase “reproductive rights” from all federal regulations. Having succeeded at overturning Roe v. Wade, the termination of all Title X funding is another big step toward eliminating women’s rights. Knowing their policies are unpopular, the GOP is trying to run away from what they are actually trying to do in this election year. Donald Trump lies that he knows “nothing” about Project 2025, but the current assault on birth control is straight out of their playbook. Trump and the GOP were instrumental in packing the Supreme Court with judges vetted for their willingness to overturn Roe v. Wade. Knowing this is unpopular with most Americans, in Red states as well as Blue, the word “abortion” was not even spoken during the Republican convention. Now the GOP wants us to forget who was responsible. [Send your message to Congress today: Protect funding for Title X. Ensure millions of Americans are able to access contraception.]( Thank you for continuing to stand up for reproductive rights -- and for continuing to talk about them! - Amanda Amanda Ford, Director Democracy for America Advocacy Fund [Power This Campaign]( Democracy for America Advocacy Fund is a 501c4 organization.
