They're going after any Democrat who dares to speak up for a ceasefire or the humanity and rights of innocent Palestinians [Democracy for America Advocacy Fund](#) {NAME}, For too long, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) has held an iron grip on members of Congress from both parties, silencing any criticism of Netanyahu or the actions of Israel's extreme right-wing government and promoting a one-sided narrative that allows little to no room for recognizing the humanity of Palestinians.  If it wasn’t clear before, the war in Gaza has shown, it's time for a change. We're working with our partners at Jewish Voices for Peace, IfNotNow, and Justice Democrats to call on all Democrats to reject AIPAC's influence and demand a permanent ceasefire, increased humanitarian aid, and a halt to arms sales until Israel can prove it will protect innocent civilians. But AIPAC, funded by Trump's billionaire donors, is fighting back. They've pledged $100 million to defeat progressive Democrats, like the Squad, who dare to question unconditional support for Netanyahu’s Israel. And shockingly, AIPAC continues to back over 3 dozen Republicans who even voted against certifying Joe Biden's election victory. Enough is enough. It's time for all Democrats, from Congress to President Biden, to demand an end to the bombings and allow humanitarian aid to reach those in desperate need. And crucially, it's time to reject AIPAC's influence and their support for anti-democracy MAGA Republicans at home and extremists like Netanyahu abroad. [We're in a crucial fight to change the narrative in Washington and stand up for justice and human rights. But we need your help to power our campaign. Rush a donation of $5 or more today and fund the fight demanding Democrats reject AIPAC now >>]( [FIGHT BACK]( This alliance with MAGA Republicans and their anti-democracy agenda at home, coupled with their unwavering support for Netanyahu's government abroad, reveals a disturbing departure from the values of democracy and human rights. The Democratic Party has always stood for justice, equality, and human rights. But for too long, fear of backlash from AIPAC has prevented many Democrats from applying these values to our relationship with Israel’s right-wing extremist led government. It's time for that to change. Democrats must have the courage to stand up for what's right, even in the face of powerful opposition. Supporting justice and human rights for Palestinians does not make one anti-Semitic. We reject AIPAC's attempts to equate legitimate criticism of Israeli government actions with hatred for the Jewish people. We are motivated by a deep love for all people in the region and a desire to see a future of peace and equality for all people -- Israeli and Palestinian alike. [To achieve this, we need your support to amplify our message, mobilize grassroots support, and hold our leaders accountable. Join us in this critical fight. Fund the fight for justice and peace now as we demand that Democrats reject AIPAC now.]( Together, we can create a world where human rights are upheld, and peace is not just a distant dream but a tangible reality. - DFA AF Team [Power This Campaign]( Democracy for America Advocacy Fund is a 501c4 organization.
