If you’ve got a minute to spare, I want to tell you why I’m in this fight. [Democrats][DNC Congressional Split Series] Sen. Jon Tester here -- I’m running in one of the most competitive Senate elections in the country, and in just a moment, I’m going to ask if you can split a donation between my reelection campaign and the DNC. [If that’s all you need to hear, you can click right here to do just that:]( [DONATE]( If you’ve got a minute to spare, I want to tell you a bit about me, and why I’m in this fight. I don’t look like most politicians in D.C. I grew up in a town of hundreds, not thousands. My wife Sharla and I farm the same land my great grandparents homesteaded more than 100 years ago, and every winter we butcher our own beef. And, I still get $12 flattop haircuts. See? [Sen. Jon Tester getting a hair cut]( I’m the Senate’s only working dirt farmer -- and I know firsthand how important it is to bring the voices of rural America to Washington. Montana communities and farmers experience struggles that most folks couldn’t imagine, and I’ve fought hard to deliver on the issues that matter. From bringing high-speed internet access to our rural towns to leading the charge against Big Ag, there’s a lot that I’m proud of. But there’s a lot more work to be done. Mitch McConnell’s made me his #1 target, so this could be my toughest race yet. I’m facing tens of millions of dollars worth of attack ads that will try to turn me into someone I’m not because the truth is my opponents know they can’t beat who I am. [That’s why I have to ask: Can you split a $10 contribution between my reelection campaign and the DNC? I’d really appreciate your help right now.]( [DONATE: $10]( [DONATE: $25]( [DONATE: $50]( [DONATE: $100]( [DONATE: $250]( [Donate another amount]( Thanks in advance for chipping in. I’m grateful you’re in this fight with me. Jon Jon Tester U.S. Senator, Montana [Sen. Jon Tester]( The DNC's Congressional Split Series helps fundraise for and raise awareness around down-ballot Democrats in some of the most important races across the country.
