This back-to-school season is more than just a fresh start for our students -- it’s a new beginning for all of us. [Democrats][Join us.] Folks, As a lifelong educator, back-to-school season has always been one of my favorite times of year. I love the smell of freshly waxed floors and new notebooks. I love the anticipation you feel in an empty classroom, moments before the students file in. After a year of remote and hybrid learning, students and educators across the country are excited to be back in their classrooms. Still, even as families look forward to the months ahead, they are anxious about the unknown. In-person learning is essential.
