We must make sure that Republicans like Glenn Youngkin don’t serve a single day in office. Glen

We must make sure that Republicans like Glenn Youngkin don’t serve a single day in office. [Democrats][Join us.] I have some good news and some bad news. The good news: We have an official Democratic nominee for governor of Virginia -- Terry McAuliffe! Terry is ready to retain control in Richmond and keep delivering for working families -- and we’re confident that Virginians will send him back to the governor’s mansion to do so. But here’s the bad news: He’s running against self-funded, Trump-backed Glenn Youngkin. Not only has Youngkin propagated Trump’s conspiracy theories about the 2020 election -- he’s also committed to continuing to try to suppress votes if elected governor. Republicans nationwide are keyed in on Virginia this year to test whether they can grab back power from Democrats in the midterms. We’re counting on this team to send a strong message that Democrats are ready to defend our seats heading into 2022 -- and make sure that Republicans like Youngkin don’t serve a single day in office. It’s going to take this grassroots team stepping up early on to back the DNC’s efforts to hire organizers, run voter protection programs, and more. So, I have to ask: Will you rush $7 to the DNC now so we can prepare Democrats like Terry McAuliffe to defeat Republicans like Glenn Youngkin in 2021, 2022, and beyond? [DONATE: $7]( [DONATE: $10]( [DONATE: $25]( [DONATE: $50]( [DONATE: $100]( [Donate another amount]( Glenn Youngkin has already poured $12 million of his own money into this race to try to buy this seat for the Republican Party. But I know the power of this grassroots team -- and I know we’re more than prepared to make the necessary, early investments to fight back and keep this seat blue. Winning state-level elections across the country, like this one in Virginia, will be essential to protecting reproductive rights, the right to vote, and so much more -- and the DNC is the only organization tasked with winning elections from the state and local level to the Senate. [So, please rush $7 to the DNC now so we can lift Democrats to victory in Virginia and nationwide this year.]( More soon, Alana Alana Mounce Political Director Democratic National Committee P.S. Last night, Terry McAuliffe became the Democratic nominee for governor in Virginia. [Rush $7 to the DNC today to make sure Democrats like Terry have the resources to win in 2021, 2022, and beyond.]( Manage how often you receive DNC emails, [by filling out this form](.
