I’ve chaired the DNC during a presidential election, so I know what the final stretch of a camp

I’ve chaired the DNC during a presidential election, so I know what the final stretch of a campaign looks like during a typical election year. [Democrats][Join us.] I’ve chaired the DNC during a presidential election, so I know what the final stretch of a campaign looks like during a typical election year. But let me make one thing clear: This is not a typical election. This year, there is more on the line than any election in our lifetimes, and we're going to need to overcome challenges the likes of which we've never encountered. Because of the pandemic, more people will be voting early and casting their ballots by mail, which means we have a lot less time to reach undecided folks and do the critical work that would typically happen in the final months and weeks of the race. It’s imperative that people are able to vote safely, so now it’s incumbent upon Democrats to make sure our candidates are fully prepared for the final stage of this race earlier than ever before. I don’t need to convince folks like you of what’s at stake here. But the future of our country and the progress we’ve fought so hard for are all on the line, so I have to ask: Will you be one of the 69 more supporters needed from North Haven to chip in $7 to the DNC before Monday’s critical FEC deadline? With just under a week until the first votes are cast, it couldn’t be more important that Democratic candidates have the backing of a fully funded party apparatus. [DONATE: $7]( [DONATE: $10]( [DONATE: $25]( [DONATE: $50]( [DONATE: $100]( [Donate another amount]( Our efforts over these past few years have put Democrats in a strong position heading into the fall. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and countless down-ballot candidates are leading their Republican opponents in places where Democrats usually don’t stand a chance. But in an environment like this, we can’t afford to be complacent. We must be prepared to fight for every single vote. In some states, voting starts as early as the first few weeks of September, so it’s no exaggeration to say that this is the most critical moment of the race so far. Our party is well-prepared, but candidates from the top of the ballot to the bottom are counting on us to see their plans through, and we can’t afford to fall short in a time as critical as this. So, before Monday’s deadline, I have to ask once more: [Please be one of 69 more Democrats from North Haven to make a $7 donation to the DNC before Monday's FEC deadline. We’re on the clock, and time is running out to make investments that will have a real impact on races up and down the ballot.]( Thanks for your support, and stay safe. Howard Howard Dean 79th Governor of Vermont Former DNC Chair P.S. Early voting will begin before we know it, and we need to make sure our candidates head into the fall in a strong position. [Chip in $7 to the DNC before Monday's end-of-month deadline to ensure Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democratic candidates everywhere have the backing of a fully funded Democratic Party.]( If you no longer wish to receive emails from the DNC, [submit this form to unsubscribe](.
