South Carolina deserves better. [Democrats][Join us.] The people of South Carolina deserve a senator who will look out for their best interests first and foremost -- and Lindsey Graham is not that person. My opponent embodies everything that's wrong with this broken Republican Party, not to mention everything that's on display right now at this week's RNC. Back in 2015, Lindsey Graham thought Donald Trump was unfit for office. He called him a bigot, xenophobic, and unprepared. Lindsey Graham didn’t even vote for Trump in the general election. Now, the senator is one of Trump’s biggest supporters. It could not be more clear that his loyalties are driven by his political ambition -- and not by the priorities of South Carolinians. We need to send Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, and Donald Trump’s Republican cronies home this November. If I’ve learned anything from watching this week’s Republican National Convention, it is that the GOP takes no issue with using hatred and division to further their agenda, one that favors the wealthiest among us and leaves working folks behind.
