We simply cannot win next year without building a strong foundation for our eventual nominee startin

We simply cannot win next year without building a strong foundation for our eventual nominee starting now. That starts with hitting this Tuesday's goal: [Democrats][Join us.] This Tuesday at midnight marks a critical end-of-month deadline for our party, which is why in just a moment, I'm going to ask you to make a contribution to the Democratic Party. Since you're one of our party's most dedicated supporters, I wanted to reach out directly to explain why making your first donation of 2019 before Tuesday's deadline is so vital to Democrats' chances of winning in 2020. The DNC is preparing for what will without a doubt be one of the most difficult general election fights our party has ever faced. While our Democratic candidates for president are taking their message to voters, Donald Trump and the RNC are fundraising at a rapid and unprecedented rate, and they're preparing to go to extreme lengths to try to define our eventual Democratic nominee. The biggest mistake we can make this cycle is underestimating the strength of the GOP's fundraising operation. That's why the DNC is already in high-gear working to build our party's infrastructure while it's still early -- and why we need you in this fight right now. This election cycle will be more challenging than any other in our lifetime, but we know this for certain: We simply cannot win next year without building a strong foundation for our eventual nominee and Democrats up and down the ballot -- and we must invest in that foundation now. If 28 more donors from North Haven step up to make a contribution before Tuesday's deadline, we can hit this month's fundraising goal together. Take a look: [ Haven&url=http%3A%2F%2Fgo.democrats.org%2Fp%2Frp%2F7652847f7b8c1672%2Furl&utm_medium=email&utm_source=dnc&utm_content=2&utm_campaign=em_20190426_tp_s1&source=em_20190426_tp_s1&refcode=em_20190426_tp_s1](=/) Winning the White House and seats up and down the ballot is still within our reach, but it truly can't happen without you. That's why I'm coming to you today with an important request: Make a $3 contribution to the DNC before Tuesday's midnight deadline to help build the strong Democratic Party necessary to win the White House and elect Democrats all across the map next year. Each donation we receive before the deadline will make a tremendous difference. [DONATE: $3]( [DONATE: $10]( [DONATE: $25]( [DONATE: $50]( [DONATE: $100]( [Or donate another amount.]( The fundraising goals we set for our party each month aren't arbitrary -- they're carefully calculated benchmarks we must hit to properly build a party infrastructure that can compete with Trump and Republicans. We're working hard to launch several fundamental organizing, data, and research programs earlier in a presidential cycle than ever before, which is why a donation to the DNC at this point in the race is even more impactful than the same donation would be right before Election Day. Here's a look into what a contribution before Tuesday's deadline will help power: - The War Room was launched earlier this April and will be absolutely essential to localizing the impact of Trump's destructive policies. It's a battleground states-focused research and rapid response unit made up of dozens of research, communications, and mobilization experts entirely dedicated to kicking Trump out of the Oval Office. The War Room will serve as a hub for state parties, candidates, and activists while lifting up the real stories of the families most devastated by Trump's disgraceful policies. - Organizing Corps 2020 will recruit, train, and pay homegrown field organizers in key battleground states we narrowly lost in 2016 to mobilize their communities starting this summer. We've already started hiring talented applicants, so funding this program that will be integral to our ground game in 2020 couldn't be more urgent. - The Data Warehouse is the centerpiece of the Democratic Party's massive effort to overhaul what was once a crumbling data infrastructure. The Warehouse will improve access to voter data and unify our efforts across the entire progressive ecosystem, putting our candidates in the best position possible to target voters and win elections up and down the ticket. All of this and more is what the DNC is doing to build the strong party infrastructure our eventual nominee will rely on in their fight against Trump and his allies -- and none of it will be possible if we fall short of critical fundraising goals like the one we must reach by Tuesday. If 28 supporters from North Haven come together to contribute, I know we can rise to the occasion and help Democrats win back our country. The DNC is the only party committee tasked with winning the White House next year, and I'm proud to say that we're funding that fight through grassroots support. Two-thirds of our fundraising comes from grassroots donors chipping in when they can -- often through emails just like this one -- to help build our party's foundation as we speed towards 2020. That means, in critical moments, I have to come to you to ask: [Will you donate $3 before Tuesday's deadline? If 28 more supporters like you from North Haven contribute, we'll stay on track to hit our party's critical goal.]( Thank you for being a part of this fight, Tom Tom Perez Chair Democratic National Committee P.S. In order to hit this Tuesday's end-of-month fundraising goal, we need 28 more Democrats from North Haven to make a donation to the DNC. [Donate $3 to invest early in the strong Democratic Party it'll take to win in 2019, 2020, and the years to come.]( If you no longer wish to receive emails from the DNC, [submit this form to unsubscribe](.
