Reaching January's fundraising goal will send a clear message to Democrats in Congress that grassroots supporters are standing strong with them in their fight against Trump's wall. [Democrats][Join us.] Instead of doing his job for the past month, Donald Trump kept the government shut down and focused on something else entirely: Fundraising for his 2020 re-election campaign. Since day one of his reckless shutdown, the Trump campaign fundraised off their ridiculous border wall and hateful anti-immigrant fear mongering. In typical Trumpian fashion, Donald Trump has again put his own self-interests before the needs of our country and American families. It's got to stop. Democrats have been hard at work passing bills to reopen the federal government, but the truth is that the DNC is currently falling short of our January fundraising goal. [ Missing this critical goal -- the first of the year -- is not an option if we're to have any chance at winning in 2020, and to stay on track, we need 10 supporters from North Haven to rush a donation today. That's why I'm asking you: Can you rush a $3 donation to the DNC to help Democrats reach our January goal? It's the only way we'll be able to cut Trump's massive fundraising advantage and elect Democrats nationwide in 2020. [DONATE: $3]( [DONATE: $10]( [DONATE: $25]( [DONATE: $50]( [DONATE: $100]( [Or donate another amount.]( As the DNC's Finance Director, I can tell you this much: Falling short of this goal is an outcome Democrats cannot afford at this moment. We must signal to Democrats in Congress that we're with them as they stand firm against Trump's hateful border wall. By reaching this month's goal, we'll send a strong message to Democrats that we are committed to fighting alongside them every step of the way. It's infuriating that Trump has been fundraising for his own re-election campaign while he refuses to do his job, and right now it's more important than ever to channel that anger into support for our Democrats as they stand united against Trump's wall. [Show Democrats in Congress you have their backs by contributing $3 to the DNC right now. Democrats nationwide are counting on 10 more committed supporters from North Haven to help us stay on track to hit our critical January goal.]( Thank you for showing your support, Clayton Clayton Cox Finance Director Democratic National Committee P.S. Reaching January's fundraising goal will send a clear message to Democrats in Congress that grassroots supporters are standing strong with them in their fight against Trump's wall. Right now, we're falling short.
