This month, we celebrate pride and resistance. [Democrats][Join us.] Hi Meghan, Happy Pride Month! Join us in celebrating the remarkable contributions of LGBTQ+ leaders in the Democratic space and in strengthening our commitment to representation and equality at all levels of government. The Democratic Party stands in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and advocates for policies that promote equality and acceptance. Since taking office, the Biden-Harris administration has taken several steps to fulfill the promises made and support the LGBTQ+ community, including: - Signing executive orders to combat discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, including in housing, health care, education, and the military. - Issuing guidance to ensure that federal agencies comply with the Bostock v. Clayton County Supreme Court decision, which affirmed that discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity is prohibited under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. - Advocating for the passage of the Equality Act in Congress and urging lawmakers to prioritize LGBTQ+ rights legislation. - Fighting to protect reproductive rights and abortion for all. This month, we’re proud to host the Out for Biden-Harris National Supporter Engagement Call where we’ll be celebrating pride and resistance. This event will amplify LGBTQ+ voices and advocate for the representation we need nationwide. We hope you’ll join us. [JOIN OUR EVENT]( Together, we can make sure that LGBTQ+ voices are heard.
